A Unique Expression of Catarratto
An elegant and opulent white wine with a distinctive character, born from a special clonal selection of Catarratto.
The Winemaking Approach
Vignavella is made from an ancient biotype of Catarratto, a special selection known at the winery as V10 and cultivated in a single vineyard parcel in the Munti area.
The winemaking process is designed to preserve and enhance the wine's fresh and fruity character, with maturation carried out exclusively in stainless-steel tanks.
The result is a white wine of remarkable depth and complexity, offering a bouquet of ripe tropical fruit aromas, complemented by refreshing acidity that contributes to its longevity and persistent finish.
Tasting Notes
Deep straw yellow in color. The nose bursts with ripe yellow tropical fruit, notably yellow peach, ripe pineapple and mango.
Rich, structured, full-bodied and warm on the palate. A powerful white wine distinguished by its remarkable persistence.
Food Pairings
Excellent with fatty fish, grouper, black cod, salted cod and shellfish such as lobster and langoustine. Its impressive structure also allows it to pair beautifully with meat-based dishes.
