Vernaccia di Serrapetrona - dry
Appelation: Vernaccia di Serrapetrona DOCG
Grape variety: Vernaccia Nera
Unique. This red sparkling wine is the only one in the world to be produced with three fermentations. The regulation requires a minimum use of drying grapes of 40% but in our case it is always over 50. In the past, the third fermentation took place pontaneously in the bottle as temperatures rose up in the spring. Today, the process has been modernised thanks to the Charmat method.
